Abstract(s)
singularidade.
The present study starts from the need to understand the transformations experienced by a woman, from the island of Santiago, Cape Verde, mother for the first time, of a premature baby, who died after a month of life We thought about becoming a mother, in pregnancy and prematurity of a baby with an high biological risk - as a dynamic process, containing the marks of the intra and intersubjective relations internalized by the mother, the influence that culture can have on her identity and the baby's place in her inner world. An exploratory, longitudinal case study was carried out where we used the Hollway & Jefferson Narrative of Free Association. We have opted for this instrument, since it allows access to the participant's internal and subjective world, showing associations, emotions and identifications experienced. The data obtained from two interviews and the field notes of the researcher, also considered as a participant, discussed in the intergroup, also allowed to think about the singularity of the process of signification of the experience. The reflection sought to understand the importance of the integration of the different experiences of the mother and the psychic transformations she experienced. Without starting from research hypotheses, from what the interview narratives revealed, allowing (re) internal significations to the emotional experiences, in a proximity to the singularity.
