Mudanças ocorridas na abordagem da violência Doméstica Contra as Mulheres: Papel da Formação dos Profissionais

Ao longo dos últimos anos, diversas mudanças aconteceram na abordagem da
violência doméstica contra as mulheres, sendo o papel dos profissionais fundamental
para esta transformação. Assim, a presente dissertação pretende estudar de que modo os
profissionais têm contribuído para as mudanças, na sua prontidão para detetar e intervir
quando deparados com mulheres sobreviventes de violência doméstica.
Para isso, foi utilizada uma metodologia quantitativa, através da aplicação
online do questionário Prontidão dos Profissionais para Detectar e Intervir em
Situações de Violência Doméstica Contra as Mulheres.
Os resultados deste estudo mostraram que não existem diferenças na formação
dos profissionais das diferentes áreas profissionais, contudo, existem divergências na
preparação destes para intervir nos casos de violência doméstica contra as mulheres.
Também permitiu afirmar que a formação dos profissionais pode ser eficaz em termos
de melhoria de conhecimento, na deteção e na autoeficácia, o que contribui para uma
mudança na abordagem da violência doméstica contra as mulheres.
ABSTRACT: Over the past few years, several changes have been observed in the approach of the domestic violence against women, where the professional’s role is fundamental to this transformation. Thus, this dissertation intends to study how professionals have contributed to change your readiness to detect and intervene when confronted with domestic violence women survivors. For this, a quantitative method was used by applying an online application from the Professionals Readiness to Detect and Intervene in Domestic Violence Against Women Situations Quiz. The study results showed that there are no differences between the professionals training from the different professionals areas. However there are differences in the preparation to intervene in domestic violence against women cases. Also allowed to state the professionals training can be effective in terms of knowledge improvement, detection and self-efficacy, which contributes to a change in the approach to domestic violence against women.
