No
incluíam as versões exploratórias da Problematic and Risky Media Use in Children
campo.
Current recommendations do not approve electronic devices during the first two years and aim for supervision until 18. With few studies focusing on the consequences of technologies problematic use in the new ones, this project aims to a tripartite evaluation (parents-teachers-children) of the online behaviors and dependencies of children aged 6 to 10. In total, 35 children, 47 parents and 9 teachers completed the research protocols with exploratory versions of the Problematic and Risky Media Use in Children Checklist, the Portuguese version of the Internet Parenting Styles Instrument, the Functional Changes Scale by Problematic Internet Use and the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire in the version for parents and teachers. It was found that, although the three entities equally evaluated the use of electronic devices by (Fr=3.586; p=0.166), parents and teachers showed a higher percentage of risk sings and problematic use. Also, the degree of parents' dependence on the Internet does not seem to be associated with children's digital use (rs=0.03; p=0.857; rs=0.33; p=0.063). However, parental supervision seems to lead the way children use technologies (rs=-0.50; p=0.000), and parents' assessment of emotional symptoms and hyperactivity behaviors seems to be related to the type of children's use (rs=0.39; p=0.006; rs=0.30; p=0.043). This study contributes to the knowledge of the consequences of problematic use in some indicators of normative developme
