Abstract(s)
determinada tarefa.
Os resultados obtidos na investigação parecem, no
entanto, demonstrar que as variáveis individuais
exercem efeitos moderadores significativos na relação
objectivos/desempenho. No presente artigo, procedeu-
empiricamente.
ABSTRACT: The goal setting theory has been fundamentaly analysed under a supra-individual perspective, as it has been considered similar the effects produced over individuais pursuing an objective in a specific task. Research data obtained seemed, nevertheless, to show that the individual differences have significant moderator effects in the goal setting process. In this article, a revision of published literature about this issue takes place. It is concluded that one way of clarifying the importance of individual differences in the goal setting process is the construction of explanatory theoretical models, its integration with the present theories of personality, and its empirical testing.
