O artigo aborda o desenvolvimento das Novas
Tecnologias da Informação (NTI) e o seu papel na
Educação do ano 2000, desde o Caderno Electrónico
a Estação de Ensino (Learning Station), dos novos
conceitos de armazenamento e manipulação de
informação (Hipertexto, Vídeo Interactivo) a
Inteligência Artificial, e do Correio Electrónico a
Videoconferência e a Educação por Satélite. Assume
a mudança tecnológica como motor da mudança dos
cenários educativos através da aculturação dos
estudantes e professores às NTI para um Ensino do
ano 2000.
ABSTRACT: The article is an approach to the development of New Technologies of Information (NTI) add its role in Education in the year 2000, from the Electronic Exercise-Book to the Learning Station, from the new concepts of storing and information manipulation to Artificial Intelligence and from the Electronic Mail to the Videoconference and Sattelite Education. It assumes the technologicai change as the agent of change of the educative scenaries through the aculturation of the students and teachers to NTI towards Year 2000 Teaching.
