O presente estudo reporta os resultados obtidos a partir dum questionário sobre processos de tomada de decisão em diferentes situações organizacionais típicas, passado a 308 gestores intermédios de empresas em Portugal, Macau e Brasil. Os resultados
sugerem existirem proximidades mas também
diferenças entre as três áreas, verificando-se uma maior tendência para o estilo autocrático na amostra portuguesa, sobretudo quando comparada com a amostra macaense. Os resultados são examinados a luz dos indicadores de Hofstede.
The present study presents the refrom a decision-making questionnaire under various organizational situations, that was answered by 308 middle-managers in Portugal, Macanese and Brazilian entreprises. The findings suggest tliat tliere are similarities as well as significant differences between the three cultures, the most salient of them being the greater preference for the autocratic style in the Portuguese sample, as cornpared with the Macanese sample. Results are discussed using the Hofstede cross-cultural framework and constructs.sults obtained
