| dc.description.abstract | A presente investigação tem como objetivo analisar nos adolescentes os Comportamentos Autolesivos, as Funções dos Comportamentos Autolesivos e ainda as Emoções que poderiam estar envolvidas na prática destes comportamentos. Desta forma, correlações foram feitas entre os CAL e as suas Funções Intrapessoais e Interpessoais, entre as Emoções e os CAL e, por fim, foi feita uma diferença entre médias das emoções estudadas com o objetivo de analisar diferenças significativas nas emoções entre o momento Antes e Depois da realização dos CAL. A amostra considerou apenas os adolescentes que relataram ter praticado comportamentos autolesivos. Desta forma, dos 230 adolescentes inquiridos, 90 adolescentes com idades compreendidas entre os 15 e os 21 anos, relataram ter tido comportamentos autolesivos sendo que, 33.3% pertencem ao género masculino e 66.7% ao género feminino. Os instrumentos usados neste estudo foram: Inventário dos Comportamentos Autolesivos (ICAL), Inventário das Emoções e por fim, o Inventário das Funções dos Comportamentos Autolesivos. Os dados revelaram que os CAL encontravam-se mais fortemente associados às Funções Intrapessoais, especialmente à Função Auto-Punição. Revelaram ainda que as Emoções Negativas Antes e Depois da realização dos CAL encontram-se correlacionadas positivamente com os Comportamentos Autolesivos e por fim, pode concluir-se que existe uma diminuição significativa das Emoções Raiva, Injustiça, Ansiedade, Desespero, Frustração e Revolta e um aumento significativo nas emoções Alívio, Satisfação, Culpa e Vergonha do momento Antes para o Depois da realização dos Comportamentos Autolesivos. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT: The present study aims at analyzing in adolescents the Self-Injurious Behavior (SIB), the Functions of Self-Injurious Behavior and the Emotions that could be involved in the practice of these behaviors. In this way, correlations were made between SIB and their Intrapersonal and Interpersonal Functions, between Emotions and SIB´s and, finally, a difference was made between the means of the studied emotions in order to analyze significant differences in the emotions between the time Before and After the practice of SIBs. The sample considered only the adolescents who reported having practiced self-injurious behaviors. Thus, of the 230 adolescents surveyed, 90 adolescents aged between 15 and 21 reported self-injurious behaviors, with 33.3% belonging to the male gender and 66.7% to the female gender. The instruments used in this study were Inventory of Self-Injurious Behaviors, Inventory of Emotions and, finally, Inventory of Functions of Self-Injurious Behavior. The data revealed that SIB were more strongly associated with Intrapersonal Functions, especially the Self-Punishment Function. They also revealed that the Negative Emotions before and after the SIB are positively correlated with the Self-injurious Behaviors and, finally, it can be concluded that there is a significant decrease in the Emotions: Anger, Injustice, Anxiety, Despair, Frustration and Revolt and significant increase in emotions Relief, Satisfaction, Blame and Shame of the moment Prior to the After Self-Injurious Behaviors. | pt_PT |
