Abstract(s)

Na ilha da Berlenga (costa ocidental portuguesa) existe uma das únicas populações insulares conhecidas de Lacerta lepida (Sauna, Lacertidae). Como característica muito particular do seu comportamento social, chama-se a atenção para a estrutura colonial desta população. Com base nesta situção propõe-se e justifica-se um projecto de investigação em eto-ecologia, fundamentado na análise de estratégias adaptativas como modelos evolutivamente estáveis. -------- ABSTRACT ------At Berlenga’s Islands (portuguese ocidental coast) exists one of the only insular populaions of Lacerta lepida (Sauria Lacertidae). As a very particular feature of their social behavior, the authors call attention to the colonial structure of that ppulation. Based upon these facts, a research project on eco-ethology is proposed and justified, by means of the analysis of adaptative strategies in a evolutionarily stable model.
