Abstract(s)
No âmbito do estudo da perturbação psicótica, propomo-
nos expor, sob a perspectiva psicodinâmica, o
percurso evolutivo de um paciente com esquizofrenia
em processo de tratamento numa comunidade terapêutica,
especialmente vocacionada para a intervenção na
doença mental grave. Neste contexto, o presente artigo,
pretende fundamentalmente salientar a metodologia
de investigação utilizada, baseada na aplicação do
método do estudo de caso individual. Sendo assim, foram
delineados toda uma série de procedimentos metodológicos
com o fim de atenuar algumas das limitações
inerentes a este tipo de estudos.
Por fim, são tecidas algumas considerações (sob a
forma resumida), que, embora não assumindo um carácter
conclusivo, pretendem realçar alguns dos principais
aspectos a reter deste nosso estudo.
ABSTRACT: Regarding the study of psychotic disorder, we proposed to study, psychodinamically, the evolution course of an esquizophrenic patient, under a treatment process inside of a therapeutic community, especially directed for the treatment of very disturbed patients. In this matter, we intend, especifically, to emphasize the investigation method that we applied, wich was the single case study. In consequence we defined several methodological procedures with the proposal of minimize some of the limitations of case study methodology. Finally, we made varied breaf considerations, not with the intention of being conclusive, but primarily to emphasize some of the major dimensions consequent to our research.
