Abstract(s)
A questão da esterilidade reporta-se a do desejo
de um filho.
Na mulher o desejo consciente de um filho liga-se
ao da gravidez, mas a nível inconsciente mas estes
podem ser desejos diferentes e por vezes
contraditórios.
Por outro lado, a infertilidade, muitas vezes vista
como uma maldição, é um campo fronteira com a
medicina. A não vinda de uma criança não é
forçosamente uma doença em si. É-o, no entanto,
na medida em que a sua existência traz sofrimento.
Neste estudo pretende-se fazer uma revisão de
alguns aspectos ligados a Infertilidade,
nomeadamente a existência ou não de um perfil
psicológico típico.
Pretende-se também avaliar a reacção emocional
de um casal a um processo da Fertilização In Vitro
(FIV), tendo em conta os vários processos de
adaptação da casal.
ABSTRACT: The issue of sterility is related to the desire of having a baby. In woman, the conscious desire to have a baby is connected to the pregnancy, but in the inconscious levei this can be different and sometimes contradictory. On the othher hand, infertility is often seen as a «curse» bordering on the edge of medicine. The fact that a child is not concived, is not a diesease in it self, this situation does however bring suffring and pain. The objectives of this study is to make a revisions of several issues commected to infertility: first, the existance or not of typical psychological profile, second, evaluate the emotional reaction of a couple into the process of fertilization In Vitro. Considering the several steps of the couples' adjustment.
