In this context, the goal of this study is to analyze the life and work of the artist, based on the Dead Mother Complex as theorized by André Green. Through this theory, an attempt is made to understand his psychic functioning in diverse life situations and as a reflection of his art, in which themes such as love, loss and death are frequently approached, based on his infancy as a direct influence of his development.porEdvard MunchMãe mortaInfânciaVidaObraDead motherChildhoodLifeWorkA mãe morta: Edvard Munch e as evidências de um abandono precocemaster thesis201090333
