Guerra, Marina Prista2014-09-292014-09-291994Análise Psicológica, 12, 381-3880870-8231http://hdl.handle.net/10400.12/3110Neste artigo apresenta-se um modelo cujos parâmetros, definidores da adaptabilidade do sujeito a seropositividade para o vírus da Sida, se baseiam essencialmente na Auto-Actualização e Suporte Social. Justifica-se teoricamente a escolha destes parâmetros, através de dois paradigmas essenciais que são a corrente humanista e os modelos que abordam a interferência da crise no percurso da história dos sujeitos. Define-se o objecto de investigação bem como os instrumentos elaborados e já testados do ponto de vista psicométrico para essa avaliação. Finalmente apresentamos alguns resultados da investigação em curso.ABSTRACT: In this article, we explain a new model which tries to assess the adaptation of the human being to seroconversion to the HIV infection. We propose two different concepts underlying the capacity of adaptation which are: Self-actualization and Social Support. On one hand, we justify theoretically the emergence of self-actualization that lays its roots in the Humanistic Approach and on the other hand the models that deal with the crisis. Therefore we try to integrate these different viewpoints where they contribute to the understanding of the model explained.
