A postura fenomenológica e a compreensão existencial do ser-doente são apresentadas como aportes vantajosos para a Psicologia da Saúde, já que permitem uma aproximação ao paciente, evitando o perigo da medicalização da Psicologia.Our aim is to question the epistemological option carried by Health psychology, based in models considered by the author as distant form the experiential subjectivity of the being-sick.
