Propus-me investigar a experiência subjetiva, de utentes e técnicos, acerca da implementação de um grupo de teatro no contexto sócio-ocupacional do G.I.R.A. (Grupo de Intervenção e Reabilitação Ativa). Uma amostra composta por 6 participantes (4 utentes da G.I.R.A. diagnosticados com doença mental, 2 técnicos que dinamizaram as sessões) que pertenceram ao grupo de teatro do “Girarte”, com os quais realizei 6 entrevistas fenomenológicas semi-diretivas, tendo concluído a existência de impacto na vida e no Recovery Psicológico e Social dos participantes.ABSTRACT: I noted, in the literature review a growing trend of art therapy programs in mental health and a paucity of studies to investigate the impact that theater, in particular, has in life and in the Recovery process of the users in psychosocial rehabilitation services. Therefore I investigated the subjective experience of users and technicians, about the implementation of a theater group in the socio-occupational context of G.I.R.A.
