Competências, satisfação laboral e engagement : Qual a relação?

Pretende-se com esta investigação perceber qual o impacto que existe entre as práticas organizacionais de desenvolvimento de competências (PODC) e a satisfação laboral e o engagement, sendo essa a hipótese geral em estudo. Participaram neste projeto 274 colaboradores de diversas empresas de todo o território português e de vários setores de atividade. Os resultados revelaram uma relação positiva das PODC sobre a satisfação laboral e o engagement. Das PODC analisadas verificou-se que a formação e o suporte interrelacional têm um efeito positivo sobre a satisfação laboral e apenas o suporte interrelacional sobre o engagement. A prática de rotação funcional não revelou nenhum efeito sobre as duas variáveis critério.
ABSTRACT: The principal goal of this research is to realize the impact between the competences development organizational practices (PODC) and the work satisfaction and engagement, which is the general hypothesis of this study. This project had the participation of 274 employees from different companies all over the Portuguese territory and from various business sectors. The results showed a positive relationship of PODC on work satisfaction and engagement. The analyzed PODC found that training and interrelation support have a positive effect on work satisfaction and only the interrelation support have a positive effect on engagement. Functional rotation practice didn’t reveal effect on the two criterion variables.
