Neste artigo, trata-se da apresentar um trabalho de
investigação sobre a construção do ensinar na escola
primária como trabalho de mulheres, no período 1870-
-1933. Não só se procura perceber as subjectividades e
experiências das professoras na construção da actividade
de ensinar, como se dá conta das políticas educativas
e dos «mecanismos discursivos» que, de forma
estrutural, começam a projectar a ocupação como
apropriada a ser exercida por mulheres.
