| dc.description.abstract | Neste estudo, lança-se o olhar sobre a etnia cigana. Recorre-se ao Método das Narrativas de Associação Livre (Hollway & Jefferson, 2000) para aceder ao sujeito, entendido como psicológico. Através da realização de uma entrevista a um homem (Rui) e a uma mulher (Sara), ambos de etnia cigana, procede-se a uma análise detalhada da narrativa produzida, através dos pressupostos teóricos da metodologia utilizada. Destacam-se, enquanto temas centrais das entrevistas, os temas da identidade e representações do masculino e feminino. Relativamente a Rui, destaca-se o conflito entre passado e presente, cigano e branco, e eu e o grupo. No que concerne a Sara, revela-se um conflito superegóico, entre o interdito e o permitido. Finalmente, destacam-se os temas comuns a ambos. A figura masculina aparece em ambas as entrevistas como a forma, o poder e a lei, sendo este um poder, até certo ponto, vazio. A figura feminina revela-se como a figura que dá conteúdo a este homem vazio. Aparece, também, uma identidade étnica, um traço, embora estando relacionada com a história de cada um, que os dois entendem como característica da etnia e, consequentemente, também suas. Rui destaca a seriedade e união, enquanto que Sara, para alem da união, destaca a fidelidade. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | ABSTRACT. In this study, we take a look upon the gypsy culture. We use the Free association Narrative Interview (Hollway & Jefferson, 2000) to reach the subject, understood as psychological. Through an interview made to a man (Rui) and a woman (Sara), both belonging to the gipsy culture, we analyse, in detail, the produced narratives, using the theoretical assumptions of the used methodology. About Rui, we can see a clear conflict between past and present, gypsy and non gypsy, me and the group. In Sara, we notice a superego conflict between what is forbbiden and what is allowed. Finally, there are common themes, between the two of them. The masculine figure appears as the law and the power but this power is somehow empty. The feminine figure appears as the one who, in a way, fills this empty man, giving him content. Also, we notice a sense of ethnic identity. A trait, although a little different between man and woman and obviously having relation with each history, that both of them feel like a characteristic of their culture and, in consequence, of them. Rui emphasizes seriousness and union, and Sara, besides the union, emphasizes loyalty. | pt_PT |
